About

On the 2nd of December 2006, while surfing at a remote location near Esperance, Western Australia, I was involved in a shark attack. Fortunately for me I was with my brother and friend at the time who managed to pull me to safety, but the attack resulted in me losing my right leg and my left leg being badly mauled.

Eventually getting back into the water would be a challenge for me. I would still love going to the beach but rather than taking my surfboard and wetsuit, I’d take my camera and tripod and my love of photography grew.

6 years on, my passion for the ocean and photography is still strong and growing. There’s no other feeling like riding waves, but when there’s a great day of surf to be had, I’ll be just as stoked sitting on the beach trying to capture every different perspective of the session.

Every image displayed on this website has been taken since that day in December.  Some in more recent times. Some in other counties.  Some in obscure locations.

I hope you  enjoy these moments I’ve been fortunate enough to experience.
